How TRL1068 works.

Calpurbatug (TRL1068) is an investigational native human monoclonal antibody designed to target DNABII proteins—the structural supports of a bacterial biofilm.

By removing these supports, TRL1068 can disrupt the biofilm matrix and release bacteria susceptible to antibiotics. We are currently pairing TRL1068 with antibiotics and surgical debridement to treat prosthetic joint infections.

The goal: control infection while preserving the patient’s implant.

Remove structural supports and destabilize the protective biofilm matrix.
